Request for bids to go out for new Pawnee City fire hall

The bids for the new firehall will go out after the City Council approved it 4-0 in Monday’s regular meeting. It was reported to the Council that the cost of metal will go up by as much as 50 percent by summer, so the firemen urged the city to act now to keep the cost down.
