Table Rock has been seeing an upswing in polka music in the last few years. Last weekend saw a performance by the well known Mark Vyhlidal Orchestra, one of the best bands in Nebraska. The five piece band played at a packed Table Rock Theater. It was a free dance in celebration of 171 years of birthdays, 101 for Lila Tomek of Humboldt and 70 for Sharla Sitzman of Table Rock.
