The Pawnee County Sheriff’s Office recently hired 21-yearold Ashton McCown to fill the vacancy left by the resignation of former deputy Taylor Bredemeier.
McCown, who grew up in Fairbury, Nebraska, is a member of the Nebraska National Guard and is a first generation member of law enforcement.
