A Kansas State Patrol helicopter aided in the chase of a fugitive around June 7 in the DuBois area. The fugitive was Rex Peterson II. He was seen in Auburn and was wanted for absconding parole, according to Sheriff Brent Lottman of Nemaha County, NE. Lottman said deputies located Peterson and attempted to stop him on June 7.
