Myrtle “Yvonne” Huff was born on February 13, 1936, in Pawnee City, Nebraska, and passed away on July 30, 2026. She was the seventh of ten children and cherished the close bond she shared with her large family throughout her life.
Yvonne married the love of her life, Dale Huff, in December 1957. After Dale’s service in the United States Army, they returned to Omaha, where they raised their three children: Todd, Jill, and Jennifer.
Yvonne was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother. She was known for her kindness, gentle spirit, and unconditional love. Her greatest joys were her family, lifelong friendships, and time spent with her grandchildren— Kylan, Mitchell, Jackson, Tanner, Emmett, Benny, and Bailey— who lovingly knew her as “Grandma Von.”
On July 30, 2026, Yvonne was reunited with her beloved son, Todd, her family, and many dear friends. We imagine her catching up on all the news and sharing the laughter that brought so much joy to those who knew her.

Celebration of Life A Celebration of Life honoring Yvonne Huff will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 5:00–7:00 p.m.
