Table Rock’s annual Battle of the Polka Bands brought a big crowd to the little town. Usually two three-piece bands face off, but this year the Czechlanders Orchestra and the Mark Vyhlidal Orchestra crammed onto the stage, a total of 11 consummate musicians.
“Wait! We thought this was supposed to be for real!” exclaimed bandleader Mark Vyhlidal from the south side of the bandstand stage.
