Bruce Haughton and Donnie Fisher were sworn in as the new Pawnee City Councilmen in the regular meeting Monday. They defeated incumbents John Dahlgren and Vickie Zelenka in the fall election.
Clerk Tammy Curtis swore them in. Mayor Charlie Hatfield appeared at the meeting through the phone hookup.
Haughton was elected Council President on recommendation from the Mayor.
