Former Music Teachers Russel Workman & Mark Irvin To Speak at Table Rock Museum
Russel Workman graduated from Table Rock in 1959 and returned to teach there in 1983. Here he is with a basketball trophy won when he was a senior. Although a high school athlete, music was his passion. He says he tells his grandchildren, “Real men sing!”
On Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 6 pm, Russel Workman and Mark Irvin will appear at a “Teacher Talk” at the Argus Newspaper Museum in Table Rock. There will be plenty of opportunity for former students to re-acquaint themselves with “Mr. Workman” and “Mr. Irvin” but may find themselves using first names these decades later.
