Joyce Marie (Graham) Jameson, daughter of Avery Warren and Helen Frances (Svanda) Graham, was born on April 6, 1941 at Steele City, Nebraska. She entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 18, 2024, at Lincoln, Nebraska, at the age of 82 years, 10 months.

Her early life was spent growing up in rural Pawnee City, Nebraska. She spent her elementary years at Rural Dist. 60 and graduated from Pawnee City High School in 1958. During those years, she was active in band, was a majorette, and used her musical talents playing saxophone in her mom’s orchestra, the Rhythm Swingsters.

On June 29, 1958, Joyce was united in marriage to the love of her life, Eldon Ray Jameson. They made their home in Lincoln, and Joyce became a CEO homemaker, being a stay-at-home mom to their four boys. Joyce also maintained a daycare in their Lincoln home, providing excellent early-year development to many children. She adored Toby, the family’s shaggy dog. She was an excellent cook, and hosted many family gatherings, playing the piano for the customary singalong after a hearty meal. She enjoyed gardening, and later in life raised hostas and attended many garden shows.
