Sigmond went to be with his lord, peacefully at home with his family beside him. He and his family lived in Pawnee City for 25 years. Sigmond and his wife Chris ran the Café (The Package) around 2000. In the earlier years he painted many houses around town. After retiring, he could be seen riding around town on he electric scooter, he also liked playing 50s music and watching old westerns.

He was born in Cleveland Ohio. He and Chris were married in 1975 in Chicago, Ill. Sigmond is survived by his wife of 45 years, his stepsons David Ott (Jodee) of Pawnee City, Daniel Ott (Tyra) of Pawnee City, his loving granddaughter Sara Ott (Carl) of Grants Pass Ore. His loving grandson David A. Ott (Joanna) of Las Vegas, Nev. Brothers: Kalman Nagy (Olga), Joe Nagy (the Late Bea), Clarence Nagy (Betty). Sisters, Lucille Stokes (the Late Lloyd), Sharon Eischen (Howard) all of Ohio. Many nieces and nephews, Inurnment and graveside service with family will be at a later.
