Janet Kay (Fossum) Roe, 79, of Humboldt, Nebraska was born on October 7, 1942 in Osceola, Wisconsin to Henry Orville and Inez (Sime) Fossum. On March 5, 1960, Janet was united in marriage to Gerald “Jiggs” Roe. To this union five children, Michael, Gary, Bryan, Angela and Kelly were born.

Earl Lloyd Gimeson, 76, of rural Humboldt, Nebraska was born on October 18, 1945 in Orleans, Nebraska to Otis and Anna Belle (Smith) Gimeson. He was raised on a farm near Alma, Nebraska and attended school in Orleans graduating from Orleans High School with the class of 1963.

Betty J. Peck

Betty J. Peck, 76, of Sioux City, passed away Saturday, January 29, 2022 after a lengthy battle with dementia. Abiding by her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services held at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

Passed away at his home in Spring Lake Park, MN. He was born to Clifford and Hazel Brown on a farm south of Pawnee City. His wife is Doris “Bock” Brown. Services will be held at a later date.

Wilma May Droge, 96, of Pawnee City, Nebraska passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022 in Beatrice at the PEO Home. She was born on December 24, 1925 in Omaha, Nebraska to Don H. and Ora A. (Wills) Robinson. Celebration of Life Services will be held at a later date.

Charles “Chuck” L. Streit

Charles "Chuck" Lindbergh Streit, 94, of DuBois, Nebraska, passed away peacefully in his sleep Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at the Apostolic Christian Home in Sabetha, Kansas. Yes, he was named after that famous aviator who had just completed the first nonstop transatlantic flight in June 1927.

Mary Catherine (McCage) Siske

Mary Catherine (McCage) Siske was born December 18, 1937 in Falls City, Nebraska to Lewis Ross and Nellie Irene (Butler) McCage. She entered Eternal Life January 21, 2022 at the age of 84. Mary lived in Falls City for 12 years and then the family moved to a farm northeast of Table Rock.

Loyola Angelina (Siske) Root, formerly of Blue Springs, Nebraska, passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Premier Estates in Pawnee City. She was born on April 5, 1931 to William and Marie (Klein) Siske in Pawnee City, Nebraska. She graduated from Lewiston Consolidated School in 1948.
