The City has switched retirement accounts after action by the City Council at Monday’s regular meeting.
The City switched from Northwest Mutual to John Hancock on a 4-0 vote. The feeling is that this will modernize the account, created with Northwest back in the 90s. There will be a surrender fee paid by each employee. The estimate is between $4,500 and $4,900 to switch accounts. The main…
