Humboldt was buzzing with baseball excitement this past weekend (June 19–22) as it hosted the Southeast Nebraska Youth Baseball 10U Tournament.

Area tracksters make the podium at State Meet

OMAHA - The weather conditions were much cooler and breezy with chances of sprinkles mixed in on both days of the Class C and D State Track Meet at Omaha Burke last Friday and Saturday, May 23rd-24th.

LINCOLN - The Class C-1 District Golf Meet was held at Crooked Creek Golf Club in Lincoln on Monday, May 19th.The Humboldt Table Rock Steinauer/ Pawnee City golf team participated in their final event of the season.HTRS/P.C.

PAWNEE CITY - The Fairview Golf Men’s League held their weekly competition on Thursday, May 22nd with 23 participating.Results were: two-way tie for 1st between Jay Boyer and Wayne Rees with a net 28; Gary Ruegge, 3rd, net 29.

Fifteen tracksters qualify for State Track Meet

PAWNEE CITY - Things heated up both literally and conditionally at the Class D-1 District Track Meet which was held in Pawnee City on Wednesday, May 14th.Our area track teams competed in their hottest events yet this season with windy conditions and temperatures soaring into the 90’s.

Titans break records at Freeman Invite

ADAMS - The Humboldt Table Rock Steinauer and Lewiston track teams competed against some Class B and C schools at the Freeman Invitational which was held on Tuesday, May 6th at Adams.
