JOHNSON - After defeating the Lewiston Lady Tigers in their first round game, the Pawnee City Lady Indians had the unenviable task of taking on the #1 Falls City Sacred Heart Lady Irish on Tuesday, February 2nd.

LEWISTON - The Lewiston Tigers and the Pawnee City Indians played against each other in the Pioneer consolation bracket on Friday, February 5th. P.C. took the initial lead at 13- 11, but Lewiston led 29-27 at the half.

HTRS/P.C. wrestlers qualify for Districts

LOGAN VIEW - The Humboldt Table Rock Steinauer/ Pawnee City wrestling team traveled to Logan View to wrestle in a subdistrict meet on Saturday, February 6th. The top 4 places in each weight class are promoted to the district meet on Saturday, February 13th. All wrestlers gave a great effort.

Christians in court

I have been in court. Well, sort of. I was subpoenaed to testify but it was actually before the case came to court. My testimony made it there. In a court there are judge, accuser, witness, defender and the accused.

Potential soybean pests for 2021

A soybean disease that is causing more concern in Nebraska is Frogeye Leaf Spot. It is showing up more in southeast Nebraska and there is concern that it may be resistant to the Qol (Group 11) fungicide which includes Stobilirins.

HUMBOLDT - The first quarter was the downfall for the Humboldt Table Rock Steinauer Titans in their re-scheduled game against the Falls City Sacred Heart Irish on Friday, January 29th. The Titans got behind by an overwhelming 4-17 count in the 1st quarter against FCSH and never recovered.
