Pawnee City hosts F.C., Sterling on Parents night

PAWNEE CITY - The Pawnee City Lady Indians hosted Senior/Parent’s Night on Thursday, September 7th against the Falls City Lady Tigers and the Sterling Lady Jets. Pawnee City faced Falls City in their first match of the night, but lost in two sets, 14-25, 15-25.

Turnovers hamper HTRS in first loss

WYMORE - The Humboldt Table Rock Steinauer Titan football team traveled to Wymore Southern on Friday, September 8th, but lost their first game of the season by a 26-64 count after committing four turnovers in the game.

Lewiston blasts Beavers 81-41 in home opener

LEWISTON - Lewiston’s home opener on their new football field against the St. Edward Beavers ended in a score that was closer to a basketball game than a football game.

HTRS Titans claim 2nd win of season

DESHLER - The Humboldt Table Rock Steinuer Titan football team picked up their second win of the season on the road last week. The Titans traveled to Deshler on Friday, September 1st to take on the Dragons and came home with a 44-26 victory to improve to a 2-0 record.

HTRS Lady Titans sweep Lewiston in 3 sets

LEWISTON - The Lewiston Lady Tigers hosted the Humboldt Table Rock Steinauer Lady Titans in a best three out of five set match on Tuesday night, August 28th. The HTRS Lady Titans took control of the match from the start and won in three straight sets, 25-9, 25-7, 25-8.

TECUMSEH COUNTRY CLUB - The Pawnee City Cross Country teams ran well at the Johnson County Central Cross Country meet which was held on Friday, September 1st at the Tecumseh Country Club.

HTRS outlasts OB-T in high-scoring home opener

HUMBOLDT - The final score doesn’t indicate how handily the Humboldt Table Rock Steinauer Titans took care of their opponents, the Omaha Brownell-Talbot Raiders in a rescheduled game on Saturday, August 26th.

LHS hangs with Hampton in first half

HAMPTON - The Lewiston Tigers opened their 2023 season on the road against the Hampton Hawks on Friday, August 25th. Both teams scored 8 points in the opening quarter with Lewiston scoring on a 22 yard touchdown pass from Everett Bohling to Caleb Rule. Brady kicked the PAT for an 8-8 score.

P.C. Cross Country team competes at WW Invite

WEEPING WATER - The Pawnee City Cross Country team competed at the Weeping Water meet on Thursday, August 24th. According to Head Coach Heidi Koster, the Varsity girls Morgann Friedly and Anna Koster received medals and placed 14th and 15th respectively.
