Maloley earns one MD at State Wrestling Meet

OMAHA - Andy Maloley, a senior at Pawnee City and a state qualifier for the Humboldt Table Rock Steinauer/ Pawnee City wrestling squad enjoyed two days of competition at the 2023 State Wrestling Meet which was held this past weekend.

Lewiston Tigers run into talented Tri-County team

TRI-COUNTY - The Lewiston Tigers played their final regular season game at Tri-County on Friday, February 17th, but couldn’t hang with a very talented Tri-County team. The Trojans went on a 24-7 run to open the 1st period and never looked back. By halftime, T-C had built a 46-12 lead.

HTRS loses battle of the boards against Palmyra

HUMBOLDT - Rebounding and turnovers became the Humboldt Table Rock Steinauer Titans’ biggest problem in their last home game against the Palmyra Panthers on Friday, February 17th.

Girls’ Basketball

FALLS CITY - The Lewiston Lady Tigers had a tough draw in the Class D2-1 subdistricts on Tuesday night, February 14th. The #3 Lady Tigers had to play against the #2 seeded Parkview Christian Lady Patriots in their first game of the subdistricts and lost by a close 31-37 score.

P.C. ends season against Dorchester in D1-1

JOHNSON - The Pawnee City Lady Indians were the #5 seed heading into the Class D1-1 subdistrict at Johnson-Brock on Monday, February 13th. The Lady Indians went up against the #4 seeded Dorchester Lady Longhorns, but lost by a 17-42 score. P.C.

HTRS comes up shy against Falls City in 3-game week

TRI-COUNTY, HUMBOLDT - The Humboldt Table Rock Steinauer Titans went through a three-game test last week, but came up short in each of their contests. HTRS vs. Tri-County The Titans took on the powerhouse Tri-County Trojans on Tuesday, February 7th and had a very hard time offensively.

Maloley wins District; qualifies for State Wrestling Meet

BOONE CENTRAL - Andy Maloley, a senior at Pawnee City and a member of the Humboldt Table Rock Steinauer/ Pawnee City wrestling team has qualified for the State Wrestling Tournament this past week. Maloley wrestled at the Class C-1 District at Boone Central over the weekend of February 10th-11th.

LEWISTON - The Lewiston Tigers had a rough start to their week against Falls City Sacred Heart and Southern in back to back games. Lewiston vs. FCSH Lewiston started their week on Monday, February 6th with a re-scheduled game against Falls City Sacred Heart.
