Maloley wins District; qualifies for State Wrestling Meet

BOONE CENTRAL - Andy Maloley, a senior at Pawnee City and a member of the Humboldt Table Rock Steinauer/ Pawnee City wrestling team has qualified for the State Wrestling Tournament this past week. Maloley wrestled at the Class C-1 District at Boone Central over the weekend of February 10th-11th.

LEWISTON - The Lewiston Tigers had a rough start to their week against Falls City Sacred Heart and Southern in back to back games. Lewiston vs. FCSH Lewiston started their week on Monday, February 6th with a re-scheduled game against Falls City Sacred Heart.

P.C. loses heartbreaker against Palmyra Panthers in home finale

PAWNEE CITY - One shot. It came down to just one shot in the Pawnee City and Palmyra boys’basketball game on Thursday night, February 9th. Pawnee City led 63-61 after a trey by Drew Menninga with just 25 seconds left in the game, but Palmyra crossed half court and called time out with 19.

P.C. Lady Indians can’t hang with Palmyra Lady Panthers

PAWNEE CITY - The Pawnee City Lady Indians had a tough trial against the Palmyra Lady Panthers on Thursday night, February 9th. Pawnee City tied Palmyra 4-4 in the early going, but committed too many turnovers on the Lady Panthers press and soon found themselves down by a 4-19 score. P.C.

HTRS/P.C. wrestlers place 4th at Fairbury

FAIRBURY - The Humboldt Table Rock Steinauer/Pawnee City wrestling team faced some of their toughest competition yet at the 2023 Fairbury Invitational on Friday, February 3rd. Both HTRS/P.C.’s Andy Maloley (195 lbs.) and Ty Faulks (285 lbs.

PAWNEE CITY, LEWISTON - The Humboldt Table Rock Steinauer Lady Titans were the #8 seed heading into the Pioneer Conference Tournament and finished in 7th place. HTRS vs. Friend The Lady Titans played against the #9 seeded Friend Lady Bulldogs on Monday, January 30th and won by a 6436 score.
