LHS Lady Tigers shut CVA out in 1st period

LINCOLN - The Lewiston Lady Tigers got off to a great start against College View Academy on Saturday night, December 10th. Lewiston shut CVA out of the 1st quarter 11-0 and then improved their lead to 28-6 by the halftime break.

2022 Pioneer All-Conference VB; All-District/State Football teams

PAWNEE, RICHARDSON COUNTIES - The Pioneer Conference recently announced the 2022 All-Conference honorees from the Fall sports seasons. The All-District and All-State Football teams were also released and a total of 24 area athletes were included on these exclusive lists for Volleyball and Football.

HTRS Titan offense falls short in two periods

HUMBOLDT - The Humboldt Table Rock Steinauer Titans took on the Nebraska City Lourdes Central Catholic Knights on Friday, December 9th, but fell by a 42-54 count. Lower scoring in the 1st and 3rd quarters hurt HTRS as they only posted 7 and 5 points in those quarters.

Lewiston Tigers dominate CVA for 65-39 victory

LINCOLN - The Lewiston Tigers went on huge scoring runs in the 2nd and 3rd periods to defeat College View Academy easily on Saturday night, December 10th. Lewiston led 10-8 after the 1st quarter and then rallied for a 27-11 scoring spree in the 2nd period to lead 37-19 at the half.

2nd quarter scoring lifts T-C over P.C.

TRI-COUNTY - The second quarter of scoring was the difference in the game between the Pawnee City Indians and the Tri-County Trojans on Tuesday night, December 6th. Both teams scored 15 points in the 1st period, but the Trojans went on a 19-10 run in the 2nd period to take a 34-25 lead at the half.

LEWISTON - The first meeting between the Humboldt Table Rock Steinauer Titans and the Lewiston Tigers went down to the wire on Tuesday, December 6th with the Titans coming out on top, 52-45.

Last second trey lifts Pawnee City Indians to victory over D/O Griffins

PAWNEE CITY - There were so many opportunities by both teams to win last Thursday’s season opener between the Pawnee City Indians and the Diller/Odell Griffins, but in the end, it was Pawnee City who prevailed.
