    Part 5:A Livery Stable Meant to Last – Out of Brick

    Last week: Johnny Beck and his partner Will Taylor did well, buying a new bus, which they named Lulu, and holding their own against the railroad’s pollywog. Then , Will went off to run a new mercantile business in the building that is now the Argus Newspaper Museum. Johnny did well on his own. Then one day fire struck. “Pappa, the barn is on fire!…
