FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot License

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part 107 covers non-recreational uses of drones weighing between 0.55 to 55 pounds. All drone pilots are required to have a license if they are using their drones for paid work or for non-recreational purposes.

Crochet-Along!

We are now onto part 3 of our Crochet-Along! In this section, we will be using our third color and working with the popcorn stitch. This section will be much simpler than our last section. It will be very easy to quickly get into a groove.Let’s grab our hooks and begin!

Deputy Clerk Correction

In the last city council story I mistakenly said Vickie Wiers was a deputy clerk for Pawnee City. Vickie Wiers is not a deputy clerk for the city. The deputy clerk is Kelli Wiers. Vickie Wiers was the county assessor until recently. I apologize for the confusion.

School cellphone ban advances to full Nebraska Legislature, first of Pillen’s 2025 priorities

LINCOLN — The first of Gov. Jim Pillen’s 2025 legislative priorities advanced Thursday to the full Nebraska Legislature: banning most student cellphones in public K-12 schools.The Legislature’s Education Committee voted 7-0, with one member absent, to advance Legislative Bill 140 from State Sen.
