Hastings College announces fall 2024 Dean’s List

HASTINGS, Nebraska (January 6, 2025) – Hastings College has announced the Dean’s List for its fall 2024 semester. For the semester, 352 students from 22 states and 11 countries were named to the Dean’s List.To be eligible for the Dean’s List, a student must achieve a grade point average of 3.7 to 4.

Winter Storm Blair

The first winter storm of 2025 came roaring through southeast Nebraska over the weekend. The storm, which was predicted to leave 8- 12 inches of snow, dumped about 5-6 inches in parts of the county. With winds of 20 mph and gusts up to 30 mph, below freezing temperatures caused dangerous conditions.

Pawnee Observer – Laura Turnbull. We had a rowdy, rousing, LOUD Christmas here this year. There was quite a bit of laughter. Not everyone was able to be here, but we had a good representation of the tribe. Two of the great grandchildren were here, which provided for entertainment.
