The ball field in Table Rock is now owned by the Village. It was once the home of Table Rock School’s football and track teams. For many years the town baseball and soft games were also played there. In 1995 when Table Rock Steinauer, who had an undefeated season, played Falls City Sacred Heart also undefeated, the small field was crowded with an estimaed 1,000+ fans. Table Rock Steinauer went on to the win that game in double overtime. Score: 34 to 28.

The lights were turned on again at the Table Rock Ball Field for a very special event. On the evening of August 23, 2024, The Humboldt Table Rock Steinauer High School football team played a little scrimmage/exhibition/practice game to pay homage to a “larger than life” man, Mr. Mark Woolard.
