HUMBOLDT - The HTRS School Board voted 6-0 to close the Table Rock school in a meeting Monday night. The HTRS attended some regular business before opening the session for public comments. That was before they took action. But not many commented and there were few people there anyway.

Every system created by humans is bound to have flaws, and the placing out system was no exception. One of the problems was that the system inherently had a lack of supervision. Once the children were placed, there was little to no oversight on the part of the social workers.
