City council hears requests for donations from oranizations

The City Council once again heard from community members requesting donations for their organizations. The meeting began with RJ Hickey speaking on behalf of the Pawnee City Historical Society. He provided the council with a report indicating that the Historical Society had a really good year.

Mailbox Improvement Week

Each year, the Postal Service designates the third full week of May as Mailbox Improvement Week to encourage customers on city and rural routes to examine and, where necessary, improve the appearance of their mailboxes.
