Meet the Pawnee County Fair Queen

For the second consecutive year, Justice Currie has been selected to serve as the Pawnee County Fair Queen, a reflection of her dedication to agriculture, leadership, and service to the youth of Pawnee County.

The Johnson house was signed over to the Pawnee City Development Corporation (PCDC). The house had been going through the abatement process and will be torn down by PCDC as part of Pawnee City's beautification initiatives.

It was a lesson in reality. The lesson was taught to the Driver’s Ed students at Pawnee City High School Monday Nebraska Stale Trooper Charlie Cook was there to teach the lesson about safe driving and the consequences if you don’t practice safe driving habits.

The following are ongoing cases in the Pawnee County Court. The Pawnee Republican will report on them as they develop. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Pawnee County Court was held May 20 in the Pawnee County Courthouse. Judge Jeffrey Gaertig presided.
