It Is Time To Think About Flu Shots

As the trees start to change colors, school starts and volleyball and football return, we realize it is time to think about flu shots. In the months of October and November, we will be offering walk-in flu shots on Fridays from 8:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. in the Rural Health Clinic.

State Auditor Alleges Embezzlement of Public Funds

State Auditor Mike Foley’s office released a report on Monday, September 18, detailing alleged embezzlement of $219,963.52 of funds from Five Rivers RC&D. Auditor Foley alleges these funds were diverted from Five Rivers to Arley’s LLC, a food truck company based out of Steinauer.

Brian Rottinghaus is the new member on the Pawnee City School Board. He replaces Josh Glynn who resigned because he is moving out of the district. His wife Carmen, works as a physical therapist at the Pawnee County Hospital Clinic. Rottinghaus is a teacher at Axtell, Kan.
