Saturday afternoon near Big Springs, Troopers were investigating a reported domestic incident on the shoulder of I-80 when a vehicle struck their parked cruisers. Troopers immediately assisted the injured driver. Thankfully nobody was in the cruisers when they were hit.

Three Student Film Premieres Sept. 12 At MajesticTheatre In Wayne

August 28, 2023 (WAYNE, Neb.) – Wayne State College salutes student filmmaking with one encore presentation and three premieres at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 12, at The Majestic Theatre in Wayne. The event is free and open to the public, and a question-and-answer session will follow the films.

Wayne State College’s 2023- 24 Planetarium Shows Begin Sept. 8-9

August 31, 2023 (WAYNE, Neb.) – Kids and adults of all ages are invited to the first planetarium shows of the 2023-24 academic year at Wayne State College on Friday-Saturday, Sept. 8-9, in the Fred G. Dale Planetarium. Shows are free and open to the public. The planetarium show “STARS” is at 7 p.m.
