Recipes to get out of a baking rut

With fairs happening around the state, I currently have baked goods on the brain. These recipes were among the ones Gage County 4-Hers got to choose from for their Anytime Learning take-home projects, and I’m excited to see how they turn out.

Working for Firefighters and First Responders

Earlier this year, the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation honored 144 firefighters who passed away in 2021 and 2022. Four of those officers were from our home state of Nebraska: Fire Chief Darren Krull, James Bissonnette, Captain Christopher Parker, and Assistant Chief Michael Moody.

10 years ago July 18, 2013 Celebrating 20 years of Cowboys, Kids, and Country is the theme of this year’s Pawnee County Fair. The fair will be held July 24-27 at the Pawnee County Fairgrounds. The 4-H part of the fair starts Saturday, July 20 with fairgrounds cleanup at 8 a.m.
