10 years ago March 14, 2013 Pride in craftsmanship drives 32 prisoners at Tecumseh State Correctional Institution to complete the refinishing of pews for St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Steinauer. The pews, 49 of them, are being worked on at the prison as part of St. Anthony’s renovation project.

Police Pursuit in Pawnee County

On Monday March 6th 2023 at approximately 10:40 AM a Trooper with the Nebraska State Patrol attempted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling 25 mph over the posted speed limit in the construction zone East of Pawnee City on Highway 50/8.

Keep Pawnee County Thriving

After Scott and I moved to Nebraska, we came up with a goal of riding our motorcycles on every state and national numbered highway in Nebraska. We accomplished every highway East of Hwy 281. As we rode, the decline of the small towns was evident.
