Kinsley Benson is a junior at PCHS and a great student. She works hard and excels in her classes, especially exceling at her college level coursework. Kinsley has participated in many extracurricular activities at PCHS. She meets often with her teachers to prepare for class, and is willing to go the extra step. She works hard in the classroom and maintains a high GPA.

NPPD Installs Second Utility Pole

The Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD) installed a second utility pole at the substation in Pawnee City on April 29. This switch pole was installed in addition to a second transformer in the substation which will convert high voltage to lower, safer voltage levels.

Highway 67 Chosen for Gravel Enhancement Experiment

Highway 67 has been chosen for an experiment testing possible improvements to gravel grade for unpaved highways. The experiment, done in conjunction with Michigan State University, blends varying sizes and types of gravel rock with BaseBindX, a stabilizing product made by EnviroTech.
