TSCI Inmate Dies

August 27, 2022 (Tecumseh, Neb.) – Kevin Miller #82306, age 41, died on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at the Johnson County Hospital. He was incarcerated at the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution (TSCI).

LINCOLN, Neb. August 19, 2022 - Nebraska feedlots, with capacities of 1,000 or more head, contained 2.32 million cattle on feed on August 1, according to the USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service. This inventory was up 5% from last year.

Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over Closes Summer Driving Season

August 22, 2022 (Lincoln, Neb.) — Troopers with the Nebraska State Patrol removed from the road 15 impaired drivers during the first weekend of the annual Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign. The national campaign marks the end of the summer driving season.

10Years Ago 2012 This spring, Elsie (Parks) Borcher of Pawnee City celebrated the 80th anniversary of her graduation from Pawnee City High School. The celebration was made extra special because she got to watch her grandson Garrett Borcher graduate from the same school.

Last year, Carmen Cerra provided free sketches of animals wearing overalls. You picked the animal and he provided a watercolor sketch of it on the spot. There was always a line. The occasion was the successful exhibition by the Table Rock Historical Society about overalls.
