AMERICAN PICKERS to Film in Nebraska

The American Pickers are excited to return to Nebraska! They plan to film episodes of The History Channel hit television series throughout your area in April 2022. AMERICAN PICKERS is a documentary series that explores the fascinating world of antique “picking” on The History Channel.

Little Brown Jug active with fundraisers for the community

(Editor’s Note: Since opening last year under new owners Scott and Carla Hanna, the Little Brown Jug has been very active with fundraisers. We asked them to make a list with their work so far.) In October we raised money for Sweet Second Home daycare. They were in need of a new infant stroller.

Something to do close to home

Third Street Studios in Humboldt is open for business. Deb Costello and her husband, Patrick purchased the former department store one year ago. It was a little far from home but it was exactly what she was looking for.

CONGRATULATIONS

A belated CONGRATULATIONS to Sierra and Stella for earning Academic All-State honors in Play Production. It has been so much fun watching these two. Another great year for PC’s Play Production team!

2012-10 Years Ago If you’re used to fishing in Burchard Lake, you might have to make different plans for the next year. A year-long lake rehabilitation project has been set by the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission (NGPC) to begin this spring and the area will be closed to fishing and birdwatching.
