Pawnee County - $6,500 check for Pawnee City School Back Pack Program

On Wednesday, December 1st , Jan Rumbaugh, Southeast Nebraska Community Action Partnership (SENCA) Pawnee County Family Development Specialist (FDS) presented a check in the amount of $6,500 in support of the schools back pack program to Pawnee City School Superintendent, Brian Rottinghaus.

Christmas is a time for traditions

Christmas time, Christmas time, there is no other time like it in the whole year. People gather for festivals, church services, family dinners and of course a visit with Santa for the little ones. My earliest Christmas memory is from the farm my family lived on near Elk Creek.

Storm winds hit 93 mph in this area

Winds reaching 93 mph ripped through the area Wednesday afternoon and into the night. According to the National Weather Service there were three tornados in the area. Everyone had to check the calendar, yes it was December and yes this was tornado weather. Grant Otten of NPPD said as of 9 a.m.

Nail Clinic this Thursday in Table Rock
