The Pawnee Bloodmobile is here this Thursday! COVID restrictions will be observed, but the ladies of Salem United Church of Christ will be safely serving refreshments. Blood donation is essential to ensuring the health of our communities.

Nebraska residents, those attending school in Nebraska, or those interested in a career in poultry-based in Nebraska are encouraged to apply for the 2022-2023 Nebraska Poultry Education Scholarship. A total of four $1,000 scholarships may be awarded for the 2022-2023 academic year.

FARWELLS ADOPT FLOWER BED IN CANCER GARDEN

Marianne Farwell from DuBois, Nebraska has much passion and finds peace within the Southeast Nebraska Cancer Memorial Garden after losing many loved ones to this heartbreaking disease. To show her support she decided to adopt one of the flower beds, maintain it , and keep it looking it’s best!!

Missy Freeman helping Samaritan’s Purse

Missy Freeman of Table Rock is one of those kind-hearted people who are always giving back to their community and fellow man. She has a special project this time of year – filling shoeboxes with goods for those in need. The program is called Samaritan’s Purse.

Fatality From Fire in Humboldt

A man died in a house fire in Humboldt Thanksgiving morning. The name has not been released yet, but it is believed the man lived alone at his house on 7 th St. Humboldt Fire Department was dispatched at 4:23 a.m. Help came from Stella and Dawson Fire Departments.
