Appreciation

Just a note of appreciation for the way the community works together to keep Pawnee City a vital town. It brings me joy when I drive around town and see all of the flower baskets on the light poles, in the median, Post Office and the corner of Stehlik Law Office.

Solar lighting illuminates the Divine Mercy image

The Divine Mercy Image was recently installed on Highway 50 at Spur 67B (3 miles east of Steinauer). The Image is sponsored by the Convent House B&B in Steinauer. It extends a welcome to all passers to God’s infinite mercy with the insignia “Jesus I Trust in You”.

The past 18 months have been mindboggling to say the least. On March 17, 2020 “normal” ceased to exist for Pawnee City Public Schools when we were told we had to close our doors and teach students in their homes.
