Nebraska American Legion Department Commander Elected

Lincoln (July 7, 2021) – Daniel E. Benes of Valparaiso was elected and installed as the Commander of the Nebraska American Legion during the 103rd Annual Convention held June 25 - 27, 2021, in Lincoln. Benes is eligible for The American Legion through his 31 years of service in the U.S.

Importance of True Infrastructure

Concert this Saturday in Table Rock

Trey Blecha of Table Rock. Doug Phillips of Humboldt. Polly Clark. Ann Velaba, Linda Hodges, Diana Platt, and Ashlynn Hartman of Pawnee City. They flit between band practices and band concerts. They are local musicians in the allvolunteer Southeast Nebraska Community Band.

Vaccination clinic Saturday

Dr. Jon Kohlman from the Tecumseh/Adams Animal Clinic working at last year’s rabies clinic. The City of Pawnee City and the Village of Table Rock are hosting a vaccination clinic at the former City Hall in Pawnee City 445 6th St this Saturday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Becoming a Teacher

In the summer of 2018, I discovered I wanted to become a teacher. Up until very recently, I had wanted to be an elementary teacher in low-income schools. But, based on my love for writing and reading, I decided to change my major and go into English Secondary Education.
