The recent Golden Readers Competition shows an innovative spirit at the Pawnee City Public Library. The competition is a reading one between Lewiston Consolidated and Pawnee City Schools. It replaces the Reading Classics program.

Holden Christen Inducted into Phi Kappa Phi

Holden Christen of Filley, Nebraska, was recently initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective alldiscipline collegiate honor society. Christen was initiated at Nebraska Wesleyan University. Holden is a 2018 Lewiston graduate.

Where do I even start? What once was a dream is now the reality, and honestly, we couldn’t have done it without our fan club and without them believing in us. Our fan club consists of the people that have trusted us and confided in us since the beginning.

Busy year planned for Pawnee Gun Club

It is going to be a busy year for the Pawnee Gun Club. Many activities are planned and there is a lot of fun in store for anyone who wants to compete in shooting. The first item on the activity calendar is the spring and fall leagues. These start May 18 and go for six weeks.
