Poppy Day

Members of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit #168 will be distributing poppies on May 14th in Pawnee City. This national campaign began in 1921. Poppy Day honors veterans and their sacrifice for our freedom.

Keegan 50th Anniversary

Kenneth and Diane (Olberding) Keegan of rural Baileyville, KS celebrated 50 years of marriage on April 24th, 2021. In celebration of their golden anniversary, a mass was said in their honor at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Baileyville followed by a small family meal.

Ezra James Rottinghaus

Ezra James Rottinghaus was born April 1, 2021 at 6:50 pm in Madison, WI. He weighed 7lbs. 7oz. and was 21.25”. He is welcomed home by his 2-year-old brother, Theodore Carl.
