Within most communities, mental health has affected one in five youth members. Roughly around the past four to five years, a mental health crisis has spiked and taken a huge negative toll on children ages three to seventeen.

Pelicans

“Pelicans!” said Roy Mullin when he sent this picture. He and friend Bob hiked around Iron Horse Lake last Friday. As they came around the back side at about 11 a.m., pelicans, hundreds of them, rose into the sky. Roy snapped a picture and they were gone.

City Council Accepts Bid for Pool Resurfacing

The city of Pawnee City received two bids for their city pool resurfacing project and one bid for their tranquility park project. Both projects are Rural Community Recovery Program (RCRP) grant projects.At the regular city council meeting on Monday, March 9, the council reviewed these bids.
