Water Tower Rehabilitation Project

During the month of May 2021, the City of Pawnee City is having the Water Tower interior liner sand blasted and relined, the outside repainted and some welding and code updating done to the tower. This project estimate start date is May 1, 2021 and is scheduled to last until May 31, 2021.

Maysn Arena earns State FFA Degree

Though the 93rd Nebraska State FFA Convention was not an in-person event, FFA members across the state were still recognized virtually. Masyn Arena, a senior at Lewiston Consolidated School, and member of the Lewiston FFA Chapter, earned her State FFA Degree on Wednesday, April 7, 2021.

Sarah Smyth of Pawnee City, Nebraska, was recently initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society. Smyth was initiated at Wayne State College.
