2011-10 Years Ago Lewiston students learn lessons at School for Blind. One day in February, Lewiston 5th and 6th graders played a new game. They were fitted with blind folds, then taken through the school and loaded onto a bus.

Elsie Tomek was born at home on the farm near DuBois, NE, just a few minutes older than her twin sister, Edna Wittwer. She has two other sisters, Alma Mach and Betty Stauffer. She is close to her sisters and enjoys telephone calls and time spent with them.

Lewiston’s Barnyard Day a big hit for FFA week

Masyn Arena, Emma de Koning, and Dana Christen made a special day for elementary students at Lewiston Consolidated last week. They brought animals for Barnyard Day during FFA week celebrations there.

Pawnee City FFA has slower year than usual

It has been a slower year than usual for FFA opportunities. Due to COVID restrictions, some things have been cancelled and most competitions have been moved to virtual contests.

HTRS FFA is moving forward

It has been an interesting year for HTRS FFA and all of southeast Nebraska. We have been taking everything in stride and moving ahead with what we can. The end of the school year last year, we won the state competition for our hall of chapters booth.
