The COVID-19 virus and its effect on schools

In the early stages of the pandemic, the COVID virus didn’t appear to be posing much of a risk to many rural regions of Nebraska. When the virus peaked in late April, many counties, like Pawnee, still had no reported cases.

The 2020 election is upon us and the fever is high. It is the time of COVID-19 and we may see a free-for-all at the national level before it is all over. Battlelines are being drawn and the country is going into to psych gear as people’s hatred for one side or the other reaches a shrill pitch.

I am in assisted living and find it hard to type. None the less I shall try to get this column done. Nothing exciting happen in my life lately except a new permanent residence. I like it here never thought I would be in this shape. Come Spring I hope to get out about more.
