“ToDo” List Never Gets Done

If ever I was involved in a two-person comedy sketch it would have been this afternoon. I was taking a nap and the phone rang. It took me a few seconds to orient myself to what I was hearing and where I was. So Fumble Fingers (me) picked up the phone and answered it and promptly dropped it.

2010-10 Years Ago A large crowd showed up the Pawnee City Library ground breaking ceremony. A patch of ground was blocked out in chalk to show the size of the new building. The project has been in the works since March 2007.

Concussions

The harm caused by concussions is coming under greater scrutiny in recent years. A concussion is diagnosed if a head injury causes a temporary change in brain function. These changes can range from confusion to loss of consciousness after an injury.

PC Agronomy team wins state FFA title

The 2020 Nebraska State FFA Convention theme was supposed to be “Challenge Accepted.” Like many other things, the convention was cancelled because of concerns related to the COVID-19 virus.

State Bank of Table Rock Community Insurance and the COVID-19 Crisis

Due to the scare of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), the State Bank of Table Rock and the Community Insurance Group took immediate action to close our Lobbies temporarily on April 6, 2020. We did open the Lobbies back up on June 8th, 2020, after we installed Plexiglas Shields at all teller stations.

LB1107 gave interests some of what they wanted

LB1107 was a compromise bill that gave all interests some of what they wanted, but no one got everything they wanted. That’s essentially the definition of compromise. As part of the bill, the “ImagiNE Act” passed, which gives new businesses income tax incentives for expanding into Nebraska.

“Now that the Legislature has concluded, LB1107 is too little too late. Farmers and ranchers in Nebraska will not pay a single dollar less in property taxes due to LB1107 it makes no meaningful structural changes to our property tax system. It’s a shell game with income tax credits,” Palmtag said.
