TSCI inmate dies

August 16, 2020 (Lincoln, Neb.) – Larry French #88912, age 85, died at 10:25 a.m. on August 15, 2020 at Bryan West Medical Center. He was assigned to the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution (TSCI). French started serving his sentence on January 10, 2019.

Kaleb Vetrovsky home from basic training

Kaleb Vetrovsky is home from basic training. He shipped out May 27th and was stationed at Fort Jackson in South Carolina. He was part of the the Delta WarDogs 3rd platoon in the 3rd Battalion, 60th Infantry Regiment. During the course of his training he earned the Carbine sharpshooters badge.

Beware the bitter root

I remember when we used to say Go Suck a Lemon to people. Shut up, go away, get lost. They were words spoken in anger or disgust. The lemon was unpleasantly tart, leaving one almost speechless. We get the point. God’s Word employs a similar term, “root of bitterness”. Heb.

Relieving Muscle Cramps

It is very upsetting to wake up at night with muscle cramps. These painful cramps that usually occur in the foot or calf can be very painful but are not harmful. In fact, they can be a useful warning sign for a low potassium level in the blood. The muscles that cramp most often are in the calf.

Nancy Tilton volunteers each year for hours of announcing at the Pawnee County Fair.

When asked how many years Nancy had volunteered to announce she said “A lot, I don’t even know. I used to split it with Rodney Schaardt he would do livestock and I did rabbits and chickens. Then he bailed on me.”

Clay Schaardt and Ryan Sommerhalder volunteered to auctioneer at the 4H premium sale at the Pawnee County Fair.

“I volunteer anywhere from 15-20 times a year for different benefit auctions. The ones I do for free are for church group consignment sales, 4-H premium auctions, and benefits for someone who was in either a car wreck or has cancer. I love to help where I can.
