Gavin McHenry, son of Matt and April McHenry of Burchard, participated in the Cornhusker State Games Shooting Sports, High School Trap on Saturday, July 18 at the Lincoln Ikes Trap Club.

Council holds budget workshop

The Pawnee City City Council met for more than three hours Monday night. Prior to the start of the regular meeting, CPA Julie Bauman held a budget retreat workshop for the City Council. She went through the proposed budget and Council members asked questions as she went.

Interview with a storm chaser, Tony Laubach

(Editor’s Note: This is an interview Ray Kappel did with meteorologist and storm chaser Tony Laubach. Laubach is based in Wichita but comes to Nebraska for storms on occasion. He was at the recent storm that snapped six power poles near Table Rock.
