County roads are in fair condition

Early morning emergency

River Valley Memorials in Auburn has opened an office in Pawnee City. They are located next to the laundromat in downtown Pawnee City.

New restaurant and bar in DuBois

The area has a new place to eat and drink. Roosters has opened in DuBois. It is in the old Shirley’s Building. The owner is Art Ross and the name of the restaurant and bar comes from his son Colton’s nickname. For the first month, he plans to be open seven days a week.

New flags in Steinauer

Last week I could use my right arm. This week the pain is too much to do a good job, so the words that you read may not be the same ones I intended. Normally this column is about 400 words, not this week. As for my health last week I was in the hospital. This week I am in the assisted living.
