“It feels great to win!” That was the general sentiment in the Pawnee locker room after the game last Friday night. The Pawnee City Indians renewed an old rivalry with the Tecumseh Indians with an 8 - 6 Homecoming victory at the expense of the boys from T-Town.

On Monday, September 29, Matt Kuhlmann of Table Rock was reported missing. He had last been seen at about 9 a.m. leaving town on his red side-byside, thought to be headed to help with harvest at a farm northeast of town. He did not show up there.

Annual Halloween Party in need of Volunteers

Elaine Mullin and Roy Mullin will be hosting the Annual Halloween Party at the ZCBJ Hall in DuBois on Saturday October 25th, from 6PM – 9PM. This event has been a tradition for over 20 years.

City Council Accepts Lowest Bid from Inline Construction for Collapsed Buildings Cleanup

The Pawnee City City Council received three bids for the cleanup project for the collapsed buildings on G street. The first bid was from Inline Construction out of Marysville, Kansas for $39,370 with a start date of November 1 or earlier and an end date of seven days after the start date.
