Falls City News Release

The following is a news release by the Falls City Police Department regarding a possible murder suicide that occured Wednesday.“On August 20, 2025 at approximately 11:06 AM officers responded to a residence in Falls City Nebraska following a report of two individuals with gunshot wounds.

10 Years Ago – August 27, 2015It was a terrible day for the Mike and Amanda Rath family. Amanda Rath was driving a Lewiston Consolidated School bus Monday morning when she lost control of it and it landed in a creek. It was resting on its top when rescuers arrived.
