The Tranquility Park Project is part of the Rural Community Recovery Program (RCRP) Grant the City of Pawnee City was awarded in late 2024 for $535,000.
City Clerk/Treasurer Tamela Curtis and SENDD representatives wrote the majority of the grant along with input from the Mayor, Council Members and many other members of the community, including close to 10 letters of support.
