Despite the rain and lack of power, Cars and Coffee at Jerry's Dream Museum went on. With four classic cars on display in addition to the exhibits within the museum, attendees enjoyed chatting about days gone by, drinking coffee and eating delicious cinnamon rolls.

We are getting closer to getting an Assisted Living Facility in Pawnee City. The local people needed to raise $640,000 and they have raised a good chunk of it now, 61 percent or about $390,400 The Republican is going to run a thermometer in the paper every week that tells the weekly total.
